Right of Withdrawal (Widerrufsbelehrung)

1. Scope of this Notice
If you are a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB (a natural person concluding a contract for purposes predominantly outside your trade, business, or profession), you have the statutory right of withdrawal described below.
This notice applies to every paid contract you conclude with us through the Eigentum² platform, including but not limited to:
- An initial paid subscription (Premium monthly or annual)
- A change of billing interval (monthly to annual, or annual to monthly)
- An upgrade from a lower service tier to a higher service tier (e.g. Basic to Premium)
- The addition of a Property Pack (+5, +20, +50, +100)
- The swap of a Property Pack for a larger one (e.g. +5 to +20)
- The addition of Single Property add-ons (+1)
Each of the events listed above constitutes a new chargeable contract change and triggers a new, independent 14-day withdrawal period that runs from the day on which the change was concluded.
A pure downgrade, the removal of a Property Pack, the reduction of Single Property add-ons, or the cancellation of a subscription does not trigger a new withdrawal period, because no new payment obligation is created.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The free Basic tier (no payment is made and no contract for paid services exists);
- Contracts concluded by entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB in the exercise of their trade, business, or profession.
2. Statutory Withdrawal Notice
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the contract was concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form provided in Section 7 below, but this is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
3. Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you for the withdrawn contract, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we receive your notice of withdrawal.
We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction for the reimbursement, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Pro-rata compensation under § 357a BGB
If you expressly requested that the performance of the services begin during the withdrawal period (see Section 4), and you have actually used the service during this period, the statutory minimum entitles us to a proportionate amount for the services already rendered up to the moment you informed us of the withdrawal, calculated against the full scope of the contract.
Example (monthly Premium subscription, €29): if you withdraw on day 5 of a 30-day billing cycle and used the service during those 5 days, the statutory pro-rata compensation is 5/30 × €29 = €4.83. You would receive a refund of €24.17.
Example (annual Premium subscription, €290): if you withdraw on day 14 of a 365-day billing cycle and used the service during those 14 days, the statutory pro-rata compensation is 14/365 × €290 ≈ €11.12. You would receive a refund of approximately €278.88.
Example (Property Pack +5 added mid-cycle, annual €150): if you withdraw within 14 days of adding the pack, you receive a full refund of the proration charged for the pack at the time of addition; the rest of the underlying subscription is unaffected.
Our voluntary full-refund policy
In practice, when you cancel within the 14-day withdrawal period using the cancellation function in your account, our automated process refunds the full amount actually paid for the cancelled contract change, regardless of whether you used the service.
This is a voluntary goodwill policy. It exceeds the statutory minimum, does not waive our entitlement under § 357a BGB, and may be revised for future contracts. The statutory pro-rata calculation described above remains the legal floor.
4. Consent to Immediate Performance and Acknowledgement of Right Expiry (§ 356 BGB)
Because the platform is a digital service that is made available to you immediately upon contract conclusion, we ask you, before each chargeable transaction, to expressly confirm:
- that you request immediate performance of the services during the withdrawal period; and
- that you acknowledge that, in the case of services fully performed by us before the end of the withdrawal period, your right of withdrawal expires upon completion of the service (§ 356 (4) BGB).
For a continuing subscription service (monthly or annual), services are not "fully performed" until the end of the billing period. Your right of withdrawal therefore remains available for the full 14-day period notwithstanding immediate access, subject only to the pro-rata compensation described in Section 3.
We record your confirmation together with the version of this withdrawal notice in force at the time, your locale, the time of confirmation, and (where applicable) the IP address and user agent, in order to comply with § 312f BGB (durable medium and proof of pre-contractual information).
5. How to Withdraw
You can declare your withdrawal in any of the following ways. Each is equally valid:
- In your account: Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription (the "Cancel" function fulfils § 312k BGB / § 356a BGB).

- By using the model withdrawal form in Section 7 below.
You do not have to give a reason. You may use any wording that makes clear your intention to withdraw.
We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal without undue delay. The confirmation will be sent on a durable medium (email) in accordance with § 312f BGB and will state the effective date of the withdrawal and the amount and timing of the refund.
6. Withdrawal Button (§ 356a BGB)
In accordance with § 356a BGB (implementing Directive (EU) 2023/2673, in force from 19 June 2026), we provide a dedicated Widerrufsbutton on the platform. The button is labelled "Vertrag widerrufen" and is accessible without forced login, spatially separated from the cancellation button under § 312k BGB.
The two-step statutory flow is:
- First step (Widerrufsfunktion): click the button labelled "Vertrag widerrufen" on the platform.
- Second step (Bestätigungsfunktion): complete the form by entering (i) the data identifying the contract or the part of the contract you wish to withdraw from (e.g. order number, subscription identifier, date of the change you are withdrawing from) and (ii) an electronic address (email) to which we will send the confirmation of receipt; then click the button labelled "Widerruf bestätigen".
You can use this flow at any time within the 14-day withdrawal period. We will send you immediate confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (email), including the date and time of receipt and a copy of your withdrawal statement, in accordance with § 356a (4) BGB.
